Seven year old Jayden Sherwood only began karting a year ago but the youngster is already impressing in the karting world.
He has shown that he had a natural talent for racing, and has learnt his trade very quickly, scoring an impressive nine podiums in his last ten races, which includes winning the BKC Comer Winter Trophy.
The strong performances that he has shown, has earned him rave reviews and gained him two new sponsors in HYDRATEM8 and Harwood Building Control, which has enabled him to fund the year in the BKC British Championship.
The opening weekend of the ten round season took place a few weeks ago, it will be a busy season for Jayden and his family as they tour some of the best karting circuits across the UK.
Jayden’s strong performance and fantastic attitude has recently earned him two sponsors HYDRATEM8 and Harwood Building Control, who have helped Jayden fund his year in the BKC British Championship.
This weekend is round 1 of the 10 round BKC British Championship at Whilton Mill, Northamptonshire. The championship rounds are held all over UK including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, clocking up an impressive 5000 miles in travel alone.
Whilton Mill in Northamptonshire was the setting for the opening round of the season, and Jayden once again underlined his class and talent, winning all four of his race seats, which meant that he took the overall win in his Comer Class. He will be back on track in a few weeks’ time as round two heads to Hooton Park near Chester.
