Kent Kings Speedway team have today completed their rider line-up for their inaugural season with the signing of Sam Woods.
Woods is a 19-year-old rider with massive potential for the future and that is exactly why the Kent team have signed him for the upcoming campaign.
It underlines their commitment to signing up and coming young riders who have a future within the sport.
Woods impressed Team Manager John Sampford and co-promoter Len Silver during several training days earlier in the year.
Despite the fact that he is still young Sam is still quite experienced having completed second halves around the country in the last four years. He has also been to Denmark riding in Outrup Division One, which means he has also has experience of riding in Europe.
Speaking about the completed rider line-up for 2013 co-promoter Silver, said: “We have a young team in place who may take time to get into winning ways, but who will give 100% for our fans.”
