Wolves were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season which necessitated the sale of some of their star players.
Ace marksman, Stephen Fletcher, left for Sunderland and wing wizard, Matt Jarvis, is now plying his trade at West Ham.
Another managerial change saw the ill-fated Terry Connor replaced by Stale Solbakken. The Dane has settled quickly and Wolves sit in sixth spot, having won three and drawn two of their six home games. Their sole defeat at Molineux was at the hands of Crystal Palace.
The Addicks will be buoyed by their fine performance at Elland Road in midweek when they were unlucky to come away with just a point.
Dale Stephens was a late withdrawal from that game when his troublesome hamstring tightened during the pre-match warm up. Stephens is unlikely to be risked at Molineux so impressive deputy, Bradley Pritchard, is likely to continue in an unchanged team.
Callum Harriott was a late call up to the bench at Leeds and the talented youngster may again featute. He has been training with the first team recently, though Michael Smith will also be challenging for a bench spot.
Powell may field this team:
Hamer; Solly, Cort, Morrison, Evina; Wilson, Dervite, Jackson, Pritchard, Kerkar; Hulse.
Subs: Button, Green, Razak, Hollands, Cook, Harriott, Wright-Phillips.
Craig Pawson from South Yorkshire will be the man in the middle.
Wolves will go into the match as clear favourites but Charlton will be in good heart and may surprise their hosts.
