Kent’s Peter Wilson rounded off his year on the Staysure European Seniors Tour by finishing joint 15th in the final event of the MCB Tour Championship in Mauritius at the weekend.

The Deal professional, who is attached to Prince’s Golf Course, recorded a three-round four-under-par total of 212 which left him eight shots behind the winner, Sweden’s Jarmo Sandelin.

Wilson won 6,764 Euros for his efforts, which boosted his total earnings during his three years on the Seniors Tour to 128,058 Euros, and his 37th place-finish on this year’s Order of Merit is seven places higher than he achieved in 2018.
