Kent rider Sam Wilford has commited his future with the AGR team for the 2023 season.
The young British rider will continue his sporting growth for another year in the Moto2 class in the Junior GP Championship, after a difficult season marked by the terrible accident suffered during the second race at Estoril.
With great performances from the rider and team Wilford will start a new year with renewed spirit and eager to show the fruits of the effort and experience that he has accumulated in his career with the AGR team. Together they will fight for podium places and the Kent rider is keen to get going again:
“I am very excited to stay with the AGR team for another season. It’s a great opportunity to show my potential next year being back fully fit after the accident that cut my season short this year.” Wilford said.
“I really can’t wait to get started again in the new year, let’s see what is possible!”
Meanwhile, Anscari Nadal added:
“We started very well in Estoril, but after the incident and with a lot of hard work and effort we made small positive steps until the end of the season even though the consequences of the accident did not allow him to be at 100%.”
“The main goal is to return to where we left off in 2022 and with hard work, we hope to be at the highest level, both driver and team. It’s an honour to fight with Sam at the front, who we hope to see on the podium next season”
