Whitstable Town have announced that they have retained a number of players following the conclusion of their successful 2017/18 season.
Manager Scott Porter has been busy behind the scenes speaking to the players that were on the books from last season, and they have confirmed that a number of players have committed to the club ahead of the new Bostik League season.
Those players are:
Dan Eason, John Walker, Josh Burchell, Stuart West, Rob Gillman, Tom Bryant, Teddy Nelson, James Morrish, Chris Saunders, Louis Sprosen, Ricky Freeman, Shaun Welford and Charlie Smith, Danny Williams has also signed but he might not be available all season due to his work commitments.
Two players who won’t be at the Belmont for the 2018-19 season will be Macauley Murray who is going travelling and Craig Cloke who has now retired from playing football.
Porter is currently in the process of talking to players that he wants to add to the squad for the Bostik league season to strengthen the team further as well as who will return to his coaching set-up.
