Canterbury’s Tom Ward will return in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship for the final round of the season this weekend.
It is also his home round of the season at Brands Hatch, and he will be on board with his long-time sponsor Bradbury Racing and ADSS Kawasaki.
The 26-year-old rider is making a return to the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 grid, the class where he finished on the podium for the 2019 season finale at the legendary Kent circuit.
Ward has had a rollercoaster season, having originally signed up to ride in Superstock for the MSS Performance Kawasaki team, which had to pull out of the series, before piloting a Superbike machine for several rounds.
After an amicable split, he was offered a ‘wildcard’ on the Bradbury Racing Kawasaki ZX-10RR.
Speaking ahead of the weekend, Ward said: “I’m really looking forward to my home round at the Brands GP circuit and it would be great to repeat last year’s podium success.
“It’s a shame not to be riding a Superbike but I am positive that the future will hold more opportunities for me to show my capabilities on one.
“This weekend it will be mega riding the Ninja ZX10-RR of my friend and sponsor Dave Bradbury. Chris Platt from ADSS has kindly agreed to help too, so I can’t thank them and all my other sponsors enough!”
