VCD Athletic have announced the arrival of striker Alex Teniola from Cray Wanderers.

Teniola is a former Tonbridge Angels Academy player who progressed to the first team, before playing one game for Hertford Town.

After an unsuccessful trial at Concord Rangers he returned to the Angels where he earned cult hero status for scoring the winner against Maidstone United.

He was released in December and spent a short spell at Redhill however Cray Wanderers snapped him up and he was instrumental in their great escape from relegation.
