Still searching for their first win of the season, VCD Athletic entertain Billericay Town in the Ryman Premier League at the Oakwood Stadium.
Their visitors from Essex are in mid table at present, but just five points outside the play off zone so will be keen to add to their league victories so far this season.
On Saturday, Billericay enjoyed success at Lewes with a 3-2 victory. Mike Fondop was on target twice before former Welling United and Ebbsfleet United striker Omone Sodje claimed the winner.
Both were on target last Tuesday, too, in their 6-0 demolition of Metropolitan Police.
It has been a tough start to the Vickers’ season. Keith McMahon gave the squad a complete overhaul during the summer but four draws and six defeats in the league, plus first time exits from the F.A. Cup and League Cup have caused a re-think.
Sam Bantick, Luke Colquhoun, Max Fitzgerald and Alex Teniola have all been released with Nathan Koranteng, being signed from Heybridge Swifts.
The early F.A. Cup exit means that they have not played since a hard earned draw at Metropolitan Police on 19th September so they should be raring to go.
