Valleley joins BSB Grid

Kent’s Louis Valleley will make his Bennetts British Superbike Championship debut at Thruxton next weekend as he joins the Rapid CDH Racing Kawasaki  team.

Rapid CDH Racing has a reputation of bringing through young talent and Valleley is will be joining another young contender to the grid alongside reigning Quattro Group British GP2 champion Jack Scott.

The Maidstone-based rider currently lies fifth in the Pirelli National Junior Superstock Championship, winning last time at Brands Hatch, previously celebrating podium success at Donington Park and Knockhill. Valleley follows reigning champion Max Cook to the Superbike grid, who scored top ten finishes last time out at Brands Hatch.

Valleley said: “I’m very excited to be starting my journey in the Superbike class with Rapid CDH Racing at the next round at Thruxton. This will be a huge challenge for me having never rode a 1000cc bike let alone a Superbike, but I am eager to learn from the best and soak up what BSB has to offer. A huge thank you to Dean and the team for giving me the opportunity to ride for them, and I am super motivated to get started at Thruxton.”

Team Owner Dean Hipwell concluded: “It’s been an honour the amount of people who have contacted us regarding riding our bike, especially with it being halfway through the season. We’ve always wanted to give young talented riders a leg up into the BSB class and feel that Louis fits that mould. He’s got a very steep learning curve with joining for round seven, but there is no pressure from us at all and we’ll set realistic goals to help progression.”
