Danny Kedwell was sensationally announced as one of two new signings at Hollands & Blair yesterday evening.
The 37-year-old former Gillingham striker will be playing for them in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division for 2020/21.
He was joined in being announced by Blair last night by Joe Kane a right back who has previously played for Lordswood and Chatham Town among a number of clubs that also include Herne Bay, Whitstable Town and Ramsgate.
Kedwell has a proven goalscoring record having played for AFC Wimbledon and Gillingham in the football league. While at the Gills he scored 45 goals in 136 games and established himself as a fans favourite, something he will be looking to do next season with Hollands & Blair.
Last season he was plying his trade in the National League South for Havant & Waterlooville, scoring 11 goals in 25 games, and he also saw his side miss out on promotion after defeat to Dartford in the play-offs.
Kent Sports News Mike Green will be chatting to Simon Halsey about arguably the biggest signing in the clubs 50 year history later today.
