Kent spinner James Tredwell has been named in the provisional 30-man squad for the ICC World T20 taking place in Bangladesh in March.
The 31 year old is currently in Australia with England as they take on the Ashes winners in the One Day International series followed by the T20 series.
At the end of that series, the England selectors will name their 30 man squad for the tournament in Bangladesh.
Tredwell has featured in seven T20 internationals for England so far and it the most senior spinner in the 30 man provisional squad with Scott Borthwick and Danny Briggs also named.

England have won one ICC World T20 title since the tournament began in 2007 beating Australia in 2010 in Barbados. In the 2012 tournament which was held in Sri Lanka England reached the Super Eight stage with 14 players from that squad included in the provisional squad for the 2014 tournament.
England will face New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa and a qualifier in Chittagong in the group stages of the 2014 competition. The squad will be halved to a final 15 man squad following the three match T20 series against Australia beginning on 29 January.
Meanwhile, Tredwell has pushed for a place in the side for the next One Day International against Australia having taken 1-10 in 4 overs and scoring an unbeaten 18 as England beat a Prime Minister’s XI by 172 runs.
