Kent spinner James Tredwell has been named in England’s provisional thirty man squad for the ICC Twenty 20 World Cup.
The 30 year old played for England just last week as they beat Australia in the final One Day International of a five game series, taking 2 for 23 in his seven overs.
Tredwell, who is yet to make his T20 debut for England will be hoping to be named the squad which will be halved to a final 15 players next month for the tournament in Sri Lanka.
England are current holders of the ICC World Twenty20 title and will face Afghanistan and India in the group stages beginning on Friday 21 September against Afghanistan in Colombo.
