Kent and England spinner James Tredwell has been granted a benefit year in 2017.
The 34-year-old Ashford-born bowler made his Kent debut in 2000 and has made more than 500 senior appearances and taken in excess of 800 wickets for the county.
He was awarded his Kent cap and won the Twenty20 Cup in 2007 before being part of the side that won County Championship Division Two in 2009.
The off-spinner has represented England in all three forms of the game: his Test and ODI debut came on the Bangladesh tour of 2010 before his most recent call-up in 2015 for the tour of West Indies.
Tredwell, who captained Kent for the 2013 season, said: “I feel very grateful to have been able to represent both my county and my country and to have been recognised in this way is a fantastic honour.
“I have had some fabulous times on the cricket field to date and look forward to another fantastic year with you all both on and off the field in 2017.”
Former team-mate and Kent spin bowling coach Min Patel will be the chairman of his benefit committee.
Further information about events will follow in due course.
