Following their relegation from the Ryman Premier Division, Thamesmead Town’s rebuilding for their return to Division One North is continuing apace with a number of last season’s squad re-signing for the new challenges that lay ahead in Division North – where the Mead won the Play Off Final in season 2012/2013.
The latest to sign is club skipper Lewis Tozer, who’s signature drew this reaction from Thamesmead boss Keith McMahon.
“I’m over the moon that Toz has resigned. We had it tough last season and its good to see so many of the squad willing to re-sign as we attempt to bounce back into the Premier Division at the first attempt.”
Tozer is the eleventh player whose services McMahon has secured for the club’s challenge for North honours.
He joins Rob Budd, Jack Hopkins, Ashley Probets, Richard Butler, Simon Glover, Derek Duncan, Sean Roberts, Tyrus Gordon Young, Rob Carter, Adem Ramadam, Rashid Kamara, Tom Jewers and Ross Murphy in committing to the new season.
Details of any further player movements will be announced in due course.
