Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division stragglers Tower Hamlets entertain mid-table Punjab United with both looking for their first success in October.
It has been a tough season for the hosts with nine defeats out of nine league games so far and they come into the game on the back of a five-nil defeat at Erith Town. That followed another heavy loss, six-two at Corinthians.
Visitors Punjab United have played seven league games, winning three and losing four. On Saturday, they were in F.A. Vase action and went down to a heartbreaking three-two home defeat against Horley when conceding an injury time winner.
The Gravesend based club also lost their last league game, losing three-one at home to Hollands and Blair having taken an early lead.
Both teams will be eager to kick-start the month so it should be a competitive match at Phoenix Sports’ Mayplace Ground in Barnehurst.
