Charlton have rearranged their game with AFC Wimbledon for Tuesday 10 April, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Addicks will end the season with a run of 13 games in 56 days, and will now play seven times in April.
As well as AFC Wimbledon, Karl Robinson’s side will travel to Bristol Rovers, Shrewsbury and Portsmouth. They will also entertain Rotherham, Scunthorpe and Blackburn at The Valley.
Charlton end the campaign with a trip to Rochdale.
It is a daunting fixture list for Robinson’s side, but if they gather enough points to qualify for the play-offs, they will certainly have the momentum to fancy their chances in the end of season lottery.
Before that though, the Addicks still have five games in March to negotiate, starting with Saturday’s match at Peterborough.
It will be Steve Evans’ first game in charge of Posh, so Charlton will have to be wary of the new manager bounce factor.
But Robinson should have Jake Forster-Caskey and Tariqe Fosu available. The duo would have missed Saturday’s game at Kingsmeadow with niggling injuries.
After that, trips to Blackpool and Northampton will sandwich home clashes with Fleetwood and Plymouth.
It is a high intensity finish to the campaign, and Robinson willl need better luck with injuries than he has had so far this season.
He will also need to rotate his squad carefully to get the best out of them.
