Jake Dixon had to settle for a top ten finish in the Thai Moto2 GP after bring unable to stay with the front runners at the Chang International Circuit.

Having started from 11th place on the grid, he got an excellent start and was up to third place in the opening laps.

However, the CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider had not felt comfortable with the bike all weekend as a result he was not able to keep pace with the front runners and finish on the podium, he crossed the line in seventh place just behind his teammate.

Speaking after the weekend, Dixon said: “It has been a disaster. I have done a great start and a great first lap and I got to the third position. However, today I have not felt comfortable with the bike.

“Normally, when I get to the front, I stay there, but today I have not been able to. I had zero grip. I am giving my best, but is going how is going.”
