It had originally been decided that the cup-tie at Halifax would be pay-on-the-day with no advance sales.

Admission prices will be:

Adults £13

Over 65’s £10

Under 16’s £10

Under 12’s £5

Under 7’s £2

However, some fans have expressed concerns about not being able to get in, so the club have arranged with Halifax that the Addicks can issue their own ‘away’ ticket to ensure fans are certain to gain admission.

In addition, the club and players are sponsoring five coaches for regular away travellers, which is a nice touch. Chris Powell explained:

“The support we have had on our travels this season has been fantastic and, with such an early start, the players realised that some people might be tempted to stay at home and watch the Halifax game on the television.

“It will make a big difference to us if we have good support on the day, and it’s also a way we can say particular thanks to the people who have made the longest trips already. We know that it’s expensive for them, and while it’s a small gesture, we hope it shows we do appreciate their time and effort.”

The gesture will be much appreciated by those able to take advantage of it.
