Manager Keith McMahon has tendered his resignation at Thamesmead Town and will leave the club on Saturday.

McMahon has resigned his position as Club Director and First Team Manager and will leave the Ryman North side after Saturday’s game against Wroxham.

Things have been become increasingly difficult for Keith away from the playing side of things and time has now come for Keith to consider his own health and that of his family.

“It’s been a really really hard decision to make what with me being here for eleven years. I’ve just had enough with so much of the off field stuff away from the club,” Keith admitted to the Official club website.

“It’s the toughest decision that I’ve ever taken. It will let me spend more time with my family.”

“I’ve had some great times at the club and there have been the lows too of course, but overall it’s been a joy.”

“I’ve got people around me now who are more than just friends – I consider them to be part of my extended family,  but now really is the time to move on!”
