Continuing the unwanted theme of early season ‘rain offs’, Kent SLYDE KIngs’ visit to Birmingham due for tomorrow (4/4) has joined the long list of Easter Speedway postponements with the Perry Barr track in unsuitable condition after the battering the elements dished out over the long weekend and yet more rain forecast for Wednesday.

Putting the disappointment behind them of both of their scheduled home matches over the holiday weekend being lost to rain offs, the Kent SLYDE Kings hope the elements will be kinder as they contest the 2018 Easter Cup in the West Midlands on Wednesday taking on the Birmingham Brummies.

An Easter weekend to forget reached a new low when regrettably the Kent Speedway management had to admit defeat with their plans to stage the Easter Cup first leg match against Birmingham on Easter Monday – with an early decision to call off being made on Sunday (1st. April), having found the Central Park Stadium circuit already waterlogged after a weekend of awful weather and much more rain forecast throughout the Bank Holiday Monday.
