Gillingham head to rivals Swindon Town looking to ensure they don’t make it six defeats in a row following their midweek defeat at home to Newport County.
That defeat made it five in a row, and now they head to the County Ground having failed to score more than a goal in a game in the last nine league fixtures.
If Gills supporters needed some hope though, they have lost just one of the last seven away games against Swindon, and Swindon have beaten their visitors just once in the last 15 games against Gillingham.
Swindon are currently in 22nd place in the league on eleven points, with Gillingham eleven places higher with 19 points, although having started the month top they have dropped dramatically. They go into the game on the back of two defeats as well, and they also lost on Tuesday night against Salford City. With one win in the last eight or nine games.
Mark Bonner has more injury worries ahead of the weekend, with George Lapslie having to come off in the first half of the defeat to Newport County.
Aramani Little has trained at the end of the week and could be available, a late decision will be made on him. Glenn Morris is getting closer to a return as well having trained on Thursday.
Max Clark will also miss the weekend fixture as he picked up his fifth booking of the season on Tuesday night.
