The People have linked Barnsley striker, Elliott Lee, with a loan move to The Valley.
The Durham born 22-year-old is the son of former Addick, Rob, and the younger brother of Luton midfielder Olly.
Lee made two senior appearances for West Ham, and had loan stints at Colchester (twice), Southend, Luton and Blackpool during his time at Upton Park.
Lee joined Barnsley on a permanent basis in the summer, but thus far, the move has not worked out.
Other reports suggest Huddersfield have rejected a Charlton bid for midfielder, Kyle Dempsey, who is currently on loan at Fleetwood.
Dempsey hails from Whitehaven and is 21-years-old. It could be that he would rather remain in the north.
