The Invicta Dynamos maintained their unbeaten run with a hard fought draw against the Streatham Redskins in the cup on Saturday night.
Kevin Parrish’s side showed true spirit to keep their great run of form going in Brixton, extending their unbeaten run to ten games with the 3-3 draw.
Without the services of forward Andy Smith who is on his honeymoon and Adam McNicoll who left the club earlier in the week, the Dynamos showed the character that will see them go far this season, coming from behind to earn a point.
They had to do it the hard way too as they trailed in the 13th minute and then lost import Juraj Huska for the remainder of the game as he was penalised for a high stick.
Falling two goals down in the 25th minute could have seen the side crumble, but they battled back to 2-2 by the end of the secon period with both Nicky Lewis and Dan Fudger on target for the Dynamos.
The home side were to take the lead once again in the 49th minute, but the Dynamos weren’t to be denied and fought back for the point with Callum Fowler scoring with little over ninety seconds left on the clock.
The Dynamos return to Gillingham on Sunday night for their latest league encounter with Bracknell Hornets the visitors to the Silver Blades Ice Bowl.
Another victory could well see the Dynamos pull level with the Chelmsford Chieftains at the top of the table after they thrashed Milton Keynes Thunder 14-2 on Saturday night.
Face off is 5:15pm on Sunday evening with more information available at www.invictadynamos.co.uk
