New Maidstone United boss Harry Wheeler has brought in a new face up front before this weekends Kent derby at the wrong end of the Vanarama National League.

Wheeler has dipped into the Football League loan market and secured the services of GOLD OMOTAYO from Bury initially for a month.

Although he began his career in his native Switzerland with FC Zurich, his first taste of English football came on the south coast with National League South side Whitehawk.  Omotayo suitably impressed in a struggling side and was picked up by the Shakers during the summer.

He has scored one League goal for new boss Ryan Lowe and comes to Kent and goes straight into the Stones squad for Bromley’s visit to the Gallagher on Saturday.
