Steps three to six changes sees Corinthian promoted

The Football Association has released the League allocations for the 2021-22 season and it’s good news for Kent side Corinthian.

They will be playing in the Isthmian League South East Division for the first time after being promoted from the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division, elevated after a points-per-game ratio was used over the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

Corinthain will be one of 20 sides in that division whilst the same 22 clubs that competed in the Isthmian League Premier Division during the 2020-21 season will do so again for the 2021-22 campaign.

Meanwhile, the Southern Counties East Football League will be made up of 20 clubs with Holmesdale, Kennington and Rusthall winning promotion from the First Division.

Three sides have made a move across to the Combined Counties League to form a new Premier Division South 20-club division. AFC Croydon Athletic, Balham and Beckenham Town will move across, while Chessington & Hook United, Tooting Bec and Westside will all be playing Southern Counties East Football League First Division football for the first time next season.

Stepping up from the Kent County League will be Faversham Strike Force, Larkfield & New Hythe Wanderers and Staplehurst Monarchs to make it another 20 club division.
