Sky’s Pete O’Rourke has reported that Charlton will sign Tottenham’s 19-year-old Swiss born Serbian defender/midfielder, Milos Veljkovic, on loan.

Veljkovic spent time on loan at Middlesbrough earlier in the season and has made a couple of appearances in the Premier League for Spurs.

He is probably more comfortable playing as a defensive midfielder these days but he can also operate in the middle of the defence.

The Kent Senior Cup match with Maidstone will be played at the Gallagher Stadium on Tuesday 3 February, just 24 hours after the Under-21 game with Swansea is due to be played at The Valley.

It seems likely that the Swansea match will be postponed and rescheduled for later in the season.
