With the go-ahead received from the local authority to open up to spectators, advance ticketing arrangements for Kent Speedway’s hotly anticipated opening fixture of their debut campaign in the SGB Championship are able to be confirmed.

The arrangements to purchase advance tickets for the match vs. reigning champions, Leicester Lions to be staged at 6.30pm on Tuesday 18th. May are as follows:

All tickets must be pre-purchased and will be available from Central Park Stadium directly from Monday May 10th. with the sales office open from 10am until 4pm.  Tickets can be purchased by a ‘phone call to 01795 475547 or by personal visit.  All buyers will be required to give the names and contact details for every person in their party.

Prices: Adults £18; Teenagers (13 – 17 years) £12;  12 years & under free. Programme (28 pages) £2. Seats will be allocated on a 1st come, 1st served basis.

Fans will be asked to respect the rules about social distancing and face coverings are preferred. Fans must NOT attend if they have any symptoms and they’ll be a speedy non-contact temperature check taken before entry to the stadium.

On May 18th the stadium will be open from 5pm and, to help avoid any congestion, fans are asked to arrive as early as possible.

Len Silver, co-promoter expressed relief that the final pieces are in place now for the return of the sport to Central Park, said: “I want to express our thanks to Swale Council who have been very helpful and keen to see us racing again. 

“Fans will be able to watch Speedway from one of the best appointed stadium grandstands in the country and be able to do so confidently in a Covid-safe environment.  The indoor areas of the stadium including the bars and inside food outlets won’t be open for the initial part of the season.”
