Lordswood FC have announced that they have parted with manager Nicky Southall by mutual consent this evening.
Southall has been in charge at The Bill Bishop Memorial Stadium for ten months, and leaves the club sitting 17th in the SCEFL Premier Division.
Although a run of just one win in the last nine games, has seen them going through a bad run of form, and they are just a point above the relegation zone.
In a statement on their official website, Chairman Ray Broad, said: “We would like to thank Nicky for his hard work over the last 10 months and wish him all the best for the future.
The club have also confirmed that First Team Coach Sam Wilson will be over-seeing the transition period while the Lords look to appoint Southall’s successor. They have a bit of time to make an appointment as they have this weekend off before they are in Challenge Cup action next week against Bearsted.
Meanwhile Southall himself on social media has said: “I wish everyone at Lordswood all the very best. Time for me to look elsewhere on the next chapter.”
