Gillingham will be backed by around 2,000 travelling fans when they head to Southend United on Saturday.
Justin Edinburgh’s side will have plenty of vocal support as they make the short journey into Essex looking to make it back to back wins after beating Crewe Alexandra 3-0 last weekend.
The Gills will have Deji Oshilaja available again after he rejoined on loan this week from Cariff City.
The central defender made 15 appearances during a spell with the Gills earlier in the season and was recruited again because Adam El-Abd came off against Crewe with a hamstring strain and he’s expected to line up alongside Max Ehmer.
Ryan Jackson trained on Thursday and Friday following his knee problem and should return to the squad at the weekend, but Justin Edinburgh still has injury issues.
Bradley Dack (hamstring), John Egan (knee), Doug Loft (Achilles) and Cody McDonald (foot) will all be sidelined until April at least.
Southend United remain without strikers David Mooney and Noel Hunt for the game at Roots Hall.
Both players will miss the game as Mooney is carrying an ankle injury and Hunt has a calf problem.
However, former Gills winger Myles Weston could feature after overcoming a foot injury and playing for the under-21s in midweek while David Worrall has recovered from a cut in his leg and is also available again.
Ryan Leonard is a long-term absentee with a knee ligament injury.
Adam Barrett is expected to line up against his former side as Gillingham look to claim three very vital points.
