In a one off tie that sees the team who finished second take on fifth, Corinthian FC will be hosting the SCEFL Division One play-off semi-final between Soul Tower Hamlets and Sheppey Sports tonight.

Soul Tower Hamlets finished second in the table losing out on the league title and automatic promotion on goal difference to Faversham Strikeforce, amassing 64 points in the process. On Saturday they ended their league campaign with a 2-1 win at Bridon Ropes, Rian Patel and Ashaan Siddik with the goals for John Pike and Shipon Miah’s side.
Sheppey Sports finished in fifth place with 58 points from their 34 games, they ended the regular season with a 4-1 home win over FC Elmstead, thanks to goals from Beau Cook-Bartholomew, Joe Skinner, David Latunde and Victor Aiyelabola, guaranteeing a place in the post season for George Batten and Ian Batten’s team in their debut season under their new identity.
When the sides met in the league games this campaign, Sheppey Sports won their home game 1-0 in December, while the January fixture at Mile End Stadium ended 1-1 and this game will be equally as close with a place in the promotion play off final at stake against Forest Hill Park (SE Dons) or Croydon.
