The two 2024 National League play-off finalists meet again on Sunday afternoon when Bromley make the trip up to Solihull Moors for their FA Cup Second Round tie, knowing that they could make history by reaching the Third Round for the first time in the club’s 132 year history.
The Ravens won promotion to League Two via a penalty shootout victory after a 2-2 draw with Moors at Wembley in May, the fourth meeting between the sides that season.

Since promotion Bromley have made a steady start to life in the EFL currently sitting nineteenth with 17 points from 16 games, drawing 50% of their matches so far. Andy Woodman’s side secured a place in the second round with a 4-3 win over Rochdale at Spotland, leading 2-0 before going 3-2 down and then netting twice in injury time to win the game.

The Moors lost both the play of final and FA Trophy final on penalties within the space of a week at Wembley in May and it took them a while to get going again this campaign, before a good run of results in October and November saw them move up the table into play off contention again and they have also progressed in the FA Cup.

With the back story of last season’s meetings and the incentive of a place in the Third Round draw, and possible high profile opposition, both teams will be giving it all to progress in a one off tie that ends on the day with extra time and penalties a possibility.
The game is being shown live in ITV1 with a 3:15pm kick off.
