Following their 2-1 win away at Barnet on Tuesday night, Bromley travel up to The Midlands to face Solihull Moors in The National League on Saturday afternoon knowing that a win could see them go top of the table again.
The Ravens bounced back from their first two defeats of the season with a hard fought victory at The Hive, thanks to goals from Chris Bush & Joe Kizzi after going 1-0 down early on. The win maintained second place for Neil Smith’s side with an impressive haul of 32points from sixteen games.
Solihull made the play offs last season and were tipped to be up there again this year, after a difficult start to the campaign Tim Flowers Solihull team are now in eighth place, unbeaten in five matches. On Tuesday night The Moors beat Sutton Utd 2-0 at home with goals from Jake Beesley & Daniel Wright, their seventh win of the campaign.
Solihull completed the double over Bromley last season and when the sides met a Damson Park in September The Moors won 5-0, a result that triggered changes at Bromley with Neil Smith delving into the loan market to improve his side.
After the match on Tuesday, Smith was full of praise for his team, but also keen to quickly get them focused on another tough fixture at the end of the week against a team expected to challenge for promotion.
This should be a well contested tight match between two strong sides looking to maintain their good form as they head into the busy autumn/winter months.
