Alex Olsen had another solid weekend in the National Superstock Championship.
The Kent rider finished second in Sunday’s race onboard is BMW and is just five points behind Tom Neave in the title race.
It couldn’t have been much closer for Olsen as he missed out on the victory by just 0.751 of a second, having started the race from sixth on the grid.
Olsen now has three wins and a second place to his name for the season, and he continues his recent good form heading to Snetterton in two weeks time.
Speaking after a strong weekend, Olsen said: “It was an amazing weekend considering this is not my best track. To fight for the win and be on the podium was great, especially with Pete winning in BSB.
“Our title fight is still on track and now I need to keep pushing for the podium, so I have to thank the whole team for their efforts this weekend.”
