Cray Wanderers Football Club have announced the appointment of Neil Smith as their new manager.

Neil comes with a wealth of experience in non-league football having most recently managed Cray landlords Bromley FC, taking them to Wembley in the process. 

The club have thanked Grant Basey and Gary Alexander for the excellent work that they did as interims during a very difficult period for Cray Wanderers and have wished them all the best for the future.

Smith takes charge with the side sitting 20th in the Isthmian League Premier and his first game on the touchline will be against Kingstonian in the league on Saturday at Hayes Lane.
