Striker Charlie Sheringham has joined his former club, Blue Square Bet Premier Dartford, on loan for a month from League One side AFC Bournemouth.
The 24-year old son of legendary striker Teddy, has been out of action for fourteen months since sustaining a fractured foot in the Boxing Day match at Brentford in December 2011, but took the latest steps to recovery when he played 45 minutes against AFC Totton in the Hampshire Senior Cup earlier this month.
Sheringham netted thirty times in forty-six appearances for the Darts before moving to the Cherries in October 2011 and is expected to go straight into the squad that host Gateshead on Saturday.
The striker has joined on loan until 20th April with AFC Wimbledon striker Jason Prior having also recently joined the Darts on loan.
