Gillingham Chairman Paul Scally has written to the Sun in response to an article published in the newspaper on Monday August 14th.

A statement on the club’s official website reads:

“Many of you will have seen the article in the Sun, published on Monday August 14 and been concerned by the content, as indeed was the Chairman when he saw it on vacation.”

“The piece was factually incorrect and grossly unfair. The Chairman believes everybody associated with the club is entitled to see his response, which can be seen by clicking here.”

“The Chairman, nor the club, will be making any further comment.”
