Salisbury City 0-2 Bromley
Salisbury City 0-2 Bromley

Bromley secured a vital win down in Wiltshire to move them up one place and improve their chances of league survival thanks to a great second half display at Salisbury.

The first half was dominated by Salisbury they put Bromley under long spells of pressure and should have done better with their chances. Williams, Fitchett & Giles all had efforts saved by Rob Welch while The Ravens only effort came late in the half when Danny Waldren had a shot saved.

The second half saw Bromley start with real purpose and take the initiative to the home side. Albert Jarrett’s wing play caused City all kinds of problems and he set up the first goal with a cross to Pierre Dubois who hit the bar before Anthony Thomas burried the rebound.

Jarrett was again instrumental in the second goal crossing for Dubois who scored at the second attempt after Smith had saved his first. Soon after Thomas was denied by Smith, before play evened out for a while, but Bromley never looked in danger of conceding and richly deserved all three points with their display in the second period where Fuseini & Waldren dominated the midfield.
