There’s nothing better than to spend a day watching your favourite driver at a motor sport venue. But even better is to be able to drive in the very same car.

Simon Rudd from Kent opened the doors of his TeamHARD VW to 16 elated guests who were given a driving experience they would never forget.

Arranged at the legendary Brand Hatch Circuit in Kent last week, the 16 drivers arrived to ride shotgun in his VW.

Following the safety briefing they were taken out on the circuit to experience the tarmac in the hands of Simon Rudd.

The smiles were huge on their return and the one word that kept being said was “Awesome”. Following lunch, an afternoon of tyre squealing action continued on the circuit for the guests.

Behind the wheel of his VW, Rudd’s Razor sharp attitude and his professional approach has seen him snapped up to drive in the TeamHARD VW Cup for 2014, run by ex-touring car driver Tony Gilham.

Simon has just returned from a successful race at the Belgium Circuit SPA, he said: “For my first race at SPA, I’m thrilled with the results.”

Simon is now looking forward to his next competition at Brands Hatch on the 30/31st August at Brands Hatch.
