Berkshire wicketkeeper-batter Mia Rogers has joined Kent Women on loan for the remainder of the Women’s London Championship 50-over competition.
The 19-year-old began her cricketing life at local club Henley CC, and made her county debut in 2017 against Kent, before helping her side to Twenty20 Cup success two years later in Division 3A.
She joined the Sunrisers regional side ahead of the 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, and has made four appearances for her region to date, scoring 44 runs and taking three dismissals.
Kent Women Head Coach, Dave Hathrill, said: “We’re really pleased to have Mia on board for the rest of the WLC as we look to compete and win the Women’s London Championship this year.”
The Horses are currently top of the WLC table and remain unbeaten in 2021 after two 50-over matches, although they have played one match more than Sussex and Essex in third and second respectively.
