Kent Cricket have confirmed the loan signing of Essex bowling all-rounder Jamal Richards for Kent’s next two Rothesay County Championship fixtures.

A product of the Essex Academy, fast bowler Richards made his first-class debut for the county against Ireland before their Test Series with England in 2023, taking 5-94 in his first first-class innings with the ball.

The 21-year-old is included in Kent Men’s squad to face Middlesex in the County Championship at Lord’s, beginning this Friday.
