Results kind to the Addicks
Results were reasonably kind to Charlton on Saturday, though they did slip to 16th in the table.‎

The point MK Dons took from their 0-0 draw at Port Vale was enough for them to leap frog the Addicks.
Charlton are five points ahead of 21st placed Port Vale, though the Valiants do have a game in hand. Shrewsbury in 20th place tail the Addicks by four points.
Coventry secured their second home win in four days, but are marooned in the bottom four, and Swindon dented Millwall’s play-off hopes by beating the Lions 1-0 at the County Ground.
Oldham came from behind to take a point from table-topping Sheffield United, but Gillingham suffered a 1-0 reverse at home to Peterborough.
Charlton go into the last month of the season with work still to do, though the fixture list could scarcely have been kinder to them.
Of their seven remaining games, only Peterborough, MK Dons and Southend are above them in the table, with the Shrimpers being the only side scrapping for promotion.
The Addicks travel to Peterborough on Saturday, and also have trips to relegation favourites Coventry and Chesterfield.
M‎K Dons, Southend, Gillingham and Swindon are the teams yet to visit The Valley.
Karl Robinson’s side will probably need another four points to ensure their safety, but the manager will have his sights set considerably higher than that.
All managers like to end the season strongly, to build momentum to take into the next campaign.
Though they trail 12th placed Walsall by six points, Robinson will be targeting a top half of the table finish.
