Kent’s Bradley Ray will be back on track at Brands Hatch this weekend as he looks to extend his championship lead in front of his home fans.

The Rich Energy OMG Racing Yamaha team is refreshed and ready for action. Ray has been in impressive form this season with three wins, four seconds and three third place finishes.

That gives him ten podium finishes in twelve races, with a fourth place and one DNF. Ray was in a rich run of form before the month long break and he will be eager to continue that this weekend.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, he said: “It’s probably the same for everyone, but Knockhill seems an age ago, although after the busy start to the season it’s been nice to regroup and take stock of what we achieved over the first four rounds.

“It’s already my most successful BSB season to date and we want that to continue until we come back to Brands in October. It’s been a relaxing break with plenty of miles on the cycle including a race up in Derbyshire and spending last weekend at WorldSBK, but the focus is now firmly on this next part of the season to continue the podium run and confirm that showdown place as soon as we can.”
