Regular rain throughout the day saw just 39 balls bowled on day two of Kent’s game against Loughborough MCCU at Canterbury.

Kent did pick up the third wicket of the Loughborough MCCU innings in the 25 minutes that were played, with Matt Coles having Bobby Gamble caught behind by wicket-keeper Adam Rouse for 4.
The students total had moved onto 19/3 by the time rain brought the players from the field again at around 10 past 3 in the afternoon. The third and final day of the game is scheduled to start at 11am tomorrow, weather allowing, before Kent’s County Championship campaign kicks off away at Worcestershire on Sunday.
