Welling United striker Andy Pugh has been called into the contingency squad for the England C International Friendly against Gibraltar.
Pugh has been in amazing form this season scoring 13 goals in 17 games and has been rewarded with this call up.
The friendly will be on the same day as Welling’s match against Salisbury – the 15th November.
Rumours are that a number of league clubs are watching the former Gillingham striker who is known to be keen to play at a higher level again.
Both Millwall and Peterborough United scouts have been said to have been watching the striker with a view to signing him in the January transfer window.
