Just days after Kent Cricket announced they had positive COVID cases in the camp, Gillingham FC have announced they to have been hit by COVID.
As a result of positive cases following COVID tests undertaken on the first team squad yesterday, a few players have tested positive.
It means that the pre-season friendly against Dartford tomorrow evening has had to be postponed. It also means the QPR fixture at the weekend is in doubt.
Those who have tested positive will now follow the governments rules on isolation whilst the rest of the squad will train as normal.
