Charlton will have a huge turnover of players in the summer. It is likely to be the busiest close season since Chris Powell assembled his League One title winning side in 2011.
As the season nears its end, the rumour mill has begun to crank into life. Any player leaving MK Dons will naturally be linked with a move to The Valley.
Dons stalwarts, David Martin and Darren Potter will be on the move, and have already been the subject of speculation.
Other long serving Dons favourites likely to be leaving include Dean Bowditch and Dean Lewington.
Potter had an outstanding game at The Valley recently, but is now 32-years-old.
The Addicks will mainly be recruiting young, hungry players who can be developed into stars. There will be the odd exception of course, but in the main, Karl Robinson will be looking at players under the age of 25.
One player at MK Dons who may attract his attention is Fulham loanee, George C Williams.
Williams is an attacking left sided midfield player, who can also operate up front.
He is 21-years-old, was born in Milton Keynes, has also made ten appearances for Gillingham on loan, and despite his relative inexperience, he has won15 full Welsh caps.
Williams’ contract runs until the summer of next year, but with Fulham’s late surge into the play-offs, he may be surplus to requirements at Craven Cottage. Particularly if the Cottagers win promotion to the Premier League.
It would be a surprise if Williams had not been the subject of discussion between Robinson and Richie Barker.
