Bromley FC forward George Porter has admitted a misconduct charge from the Football Association for a breach of betting rules E8.
The charge goes on to state that Porter has carried out misconduct under FA Rule E1(b) in respect of 473 bets placed on football matches between 13 December 2011 and 12 May 2019.
In admitting the charge, a paper hearing has been requested. As a result, the player at present has been suspended from all football and football related activity by the Football Association.
The dates of the charge relate to a period in which Porter also played for Leyton Orient, Colchester, AFC Wimbledon, Rochdale, Dagenham & Redbridge and Welling.
