Kent’s Un-Limited Motorsport were back in the points in the latest round of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Croft last weekend.
In the opening race of the weekend Daryl DeLeon started from 14th on the grid, the Cupra Leon was looking good from the off. He held that position, and moved up one place during the race, crossing the line P13.
It would have been a solid points finish, but he was judged to have made a false start and a ten second time penalty was added to his race time, that meant that he would finish P18.
In race two of the weekend, DeLeon started from 18th on the grid and once again moved forwards, he was in 16th place by lap seven before Tom Chilton going off, saw him move into the points.
He moved forward two more positions, and on the final lap he was challenging for 12th place, he was forced off the track but managed to rejoin in 14th and net two points.
The final race of the weekend saw DeLeon start from 14th place on the grid, he got a lightening start and had made up three positions on the opening lap. He then took 12th before climbing into the top ten.
He crossed the line in 10th place but for the second race of the weekend he was judged to have jumped the start and another ten seconds was added to his race time. It meant that he would finish race three in 17th place, just outside the points.
Overall it was another positive weekend for DeLeon and Un-Limited Motorsport, and it shows that they have the pace to be competing for the top ten.
