After a two week break, the Addicks return to action at Peterborough on Saturday.
Karl Robinson believes his team will need to get 71 points to qualify for the play-offs. That means they need six wins and two draws from their remaining thirteen games.
The plague of injuries shows no sign of abating. Had the game at AFC Wimbledon gone ahead last week, Jake Forster-Caskey and Tariqe Fosu would have been ruled out.
Josh Magennis tweaked a hamstring in training on Tuesday, but all three players are expected to be involved at Peterborough.
Lewis Page could come in for Jay Dasilva, and Robinson has said that if Magennis is ruled out, Michal Zyro will start up front.
Zyro has hardly played since his arrival at The Valley, and did not play in either of this week’s Under-23 games.
Charlton could line-up something like this:
Amos; Solly, Bauer, Pearce, Page; Konsa, Forster-Caskey, Kaikai, Reeves, Marshall; Magennis.
Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Lennon, Jackson, Aribo, Fosu, Zyro, Ajose.
The referee will be Brett Huxtable from Devon.
It is an important game for both clubs. A win would see Posh leapfrog the Addicks, albeit they have played a game more.
Robinson’s side have games in hand on those above them, and have still to play most of their play-off rivals.
Charlton staged a late comeback to snatch a point in the reverse fixture at The Valley in November.
Robinson will be hoping they can go one better this time, and kick start a winning run.
